Elwai Camp (GPS coordinates: GPS coordinates: 2°16'56.23"S 34°50'12.42"E) - We are located in the central Serengeti at the Warangi 2 South site - Warangi central 36M 0704265.  Just off the main road to Ikoma Gate - turn onto the Four Season's Lodge Road and then take an immediate right-hand turn when you see Elwai Camp signs.

By vehicle - the central Serengeti is about 200 miles (320KM) from Arusha by road.  It takes about 6 hours depending on stops.

By air - Flight time from Arusha to the Central Serengeti airstrip known as Seronera is just about an hour and daily flights are available during high season.  Charter flights are also available.  Elwai Camp is just about 16 miles (25KM) from the Seronera airstrip.

It is easy to access Elwai Camp from anywhere in Tanzania.

• Safari tents are safe
• All our staff speak English and some other languages
• Electrical sockets in Tanzania are three-square pin, same as in the United Kingdom and the electrical voltage is 220V
• We can help make arrangements for special occasions - i.e., birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
• We have a Maasai "Askari" (night watchman) on duty after dark
• We maintain a common tip box for camp staff in the reception area
• Safari food - all fresh and locally procured - you will love it
• All meals ARE included in your price
• Not all drinks are included
• Purified water is provided in each tent - DO NOT drink the tap/shower water
• What vaccinations are required for safari?  Please ask your medical professional
• Will I have cell phone reception?  Possibly, it depends on carrier, device, & conditions
• Credit cards ARE accepted at camp for drinks from the bar
